VANCOUVER - The vibrant Polish community of Vancouver has been proudly featured on the latest episode of TVP Polonia’s “Przystanek Ameryka”, a program highlighting Polish diaspora communities across North America.

VICTORIA - Premier David Eby has issued an official message recognizing May as Polish Heritage Month and celebrating the contributions of British Columbia’s Polish community.

In his statement, Premier Eby extended warm greetings to all those marking the occasion and highlighted the importance of this national observance, now in its second year.

“This May marks the second annual Polish Heritage Month in Canada, which provides a wonderful opportunity to recognize the invaluable contributions of Polish people to the social, economic and cultural fabric of our country,” he said.

NORTH VANCOUVER - The Canadian Polish Congress BC marked a historic milestone with a special luncheon at the Holiday Inn in North Vancouver, celebrating 80 years since the founding of the Canadian Polish Congress. Held on December 14, 2024, this memorable event brought together community members, leaders, and distinguished guests to reflect on the Congress’s rich history, honor dedicated volunteers, and look ahead to the future of Polish-Canadian advocacy in British Columbia

OTTAWA - The Young Polonia Leadership Summit, held on September 19-20, 2024, served as a distinguished forum for emerging leaders and established community figures dedicated to strengthening Polish-Canadian relations. This esteemed initiative convened over 30 prominent leaders from across Canada, alongside parliamentarians from both Poland and Canada, to engage in substantive discussions on leadership, heritage preservation, and the advancement of the Polish-Canadian community.

VICTORIA - The Canadian Polish Congress BC hosted a poignant and deeply moving Black Ribbon Day remembrance ceremony at the Legislative Assembly in Victoria. This annual event serves as a solemn tribute to the countless victims of communism and Nazism, ensuring that their suffering and sacrifices are never forgotten.

VANCOUVER - For the first time in history, a sitting President of Poland has made an official visit to Vancouver. President Andrzej Duda and First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda spent the day engaging with the local Polish-Canadian community, honoring key historical figures, and celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Canadian Polish Congress.
