Polish Scouting in BC

News - Intro image

The Canadian Polish Congress B.C. is partnering with the Polish Scouting Association in Canada (Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego w Kanadzie – ZHP Kanada) to explore the possibility of launching a Polish scouting troop (drużyna harcerska) in the Lower Mainland.

We are currently assessing community interest to help determine whether this initiative is feasible and where meetings (zbiórki) could potentially be held. Polish scouts (harcerze and zuchy) typically meet once a week and are organized into age and gender-based groups.

Scouting in the Polish tradition promotes leadership, teamwork, cultural identity, outdoor skills, and strong values — all in an environment that helps children stay connected to Polish language, heritage, and traditions.

If you are a parent or guardian interested in this opportunity, please complete this form to express your interest. There is no obligation to join — this is simply to help us understand the level of interest in the community.

In the near future, we will follow up to let you know whether the project will move forward and provide details on next steps.

“Czuwaj!”
